On 21st December last year, veteran producer and real estate magnet Anand Pandit lived up to his image as the industry’s latest showman when he threw a star-studded party to celebrate his 60th birthday. While the reclusive megastar Amitabh Bachchan graced the occasion, there was no dearth of starpower with guests like Shahrukh Khan, the Roshans, Salman Khan, Kajol, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Jackie Shroff, Tiger Shroff, Suniel Shetty, Kartik Aryan and more. Among the many unforgettable memories of the night was Sonu Nigam serenading the guests with the romantic ditty (Sooraj Hua Maddham,) from ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’.This year, Pandit will celebrate his birthday in a low-key way with family and friends but these moments from last year continue to be shared on social media.Known as a generous host with the mostest, Pandit also brought the whole industry together during the recent wedding of his daughter.Pandit, also known as possibly the only pan-Indian producer working across various regional languages, is also looking forward to an interesting production slate in 2025.
