Haresh Ranchodbhai Solanki, who lives at Kareya Mubarak in Hanumanjiwala Paliya in Padra, Vadodara, works at the Baroda Fruit Company on the outskirts of Sarasvani village. They have also been allotted a house near the company.

Yesterday morning, he went with his wife to buy buffalo milk from his parents’ place at Kareya Mubarak and when he returned half an hour later, the door lock was broken. Also, one gold ring, four silver rings and cash were found in the bedroom and a total of Rs.59000 was found to have been stolen. Haresh Solanki lodged a complaint in Padra police station last night regarding this and the police has conducted further investigation.
