Gandhinagar that is, the police are following the orders coming from the government so rigidly that the public has started raising their voices against the government and the government system on the issue of the memo scandal. Such shocking details have come to light that the government has ordered strict vehicle checking to stop crime. It was implemented in such a clumsy manner that anger has spread among the public. The police had given the target officers to detain the vehicle and give the RTO memo. Due to this, the police also rejected the request of the general public to bring the RC book from home and show it. The police have implemented the order given by the government to stop crime in the public interest in such a way that it is as if they have torn open the stomach and raised a stake. Due to this, the public and the RTO system are in trouble due to the crowd for fines. But the police are still busy checking. In Ahmedabad, a combing night was held and at least 100 memos of RTO fines were given to vehicle drivers. The citizens who had gone out with their vehicles were detained at night as if they were terrorists. In this way, the citizens and the RTO system have become disturbed by the police action against the people in some areas. A large number of people had gathered at the RTO office today (November 27th) to pay the fines. If only 200 tokens were given to pay the memos given by the police, the situation would have improved. Therefore, the staff had to be allocated for the work of collecting the fines of the memos given by the police, leaving aside other work of the RTO office. Earlier, two clerks and one inspector were doing this work. Today, a total of 45 employees including 15 clerks and five inspectors were activated for the collection of fines. The RTO system has been mobilizing the collection of fines from eight in the morning till late at night, which has given some relief to the vehicle drivers. The RTO system had collected Rs 15 lakh on Wednesday due to the police memo action. Then, a total of Rs 33 lakh has been earned in the last five days. While the public and the RTO system are troubled, the government treasury has gained Rs 33 lakh in just 5 days. The RTO system had collected a fine of Rs 15 to 18 thousand from each vehicle, including the sale value, penalty, Gujarat road tax, from those who had two-wheelers from other states. With a fine of three to five thousand rupees being collected from ordinary vehicle drivers, a situation had arisen where many people from the middle and lower middle class were stranded amidst the financial crunch.
