The state government has suspended Sanjay Patel, the principal of Amroli’s Sneharshmi School No. 285, run by Surat Nagar Primary Education Committee, with immediate effect. During his duty as a teacher, Acharya Sanjay Patel had made 33 foreign trips, including to Dubai, for illegal business purposes, without informing the education department. Regarding the immediate action taken by the state government against Acharya Sanjay Patel, Minister of State for Education Praful Pancheria said, ‘There are two teachers from Surat and other districts who are on leave for a maximum of 3 months or 6 months and are doing business or work abroad or elsewhere.
