The Sola High Court Police has achieved significant success in arresting six members of a gang who came to buy by giving fake currency notes in a vegetable market in Chanakyapuri, Ahmedabad. The police have seized 247 fake currency notes of Rs 500 each from the accused. In the initial investigation, it was found that the accused are natives of Megaon, Bhind, Madhya Pradesh and another of their accomplices had trained them to print fake currency notes. In which they had printed and prepared 500 notes on high quality paper and were going to circulate the fake notes in the evening taking advantage of the crowd. The Sola High Court Police has registered a case and is investigating. During interrogation, the police found that the accused are Deepak Bansal, Umesh Repuria, Vikas Jatav, Umesh Kailash Jatav and Rishikesh Jatav (all residents of Megaon, Bhind District, Madhya Pradesh). Giving more information about this, Zone 1 DCP Balram Meena said that earlier, a person named Yogesh had shown the accused a shortcut to earn money by printing good quality fake currency notes and circulating them in the market. For this, he had also taught the technique of scanning the original note and printing it on both sides and applying green colored tape on it.
