The number of suicides in the state is continuously increasing and incidents of ending one’s life due to various reasons are coming to light from time to time. Then another suicide incident has taken place in Surat. In the Sachin area of ​​the city, a youth ended his life by jumping from the seventh floor of a building, creating a stir in the entire area. Initial investigation has revealed that a youth named Shivam Tripathi committed suicide after failing in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examination. However, the police have taken up further investigation in this matter. According to the information received, Shivam Dwijendra Tripathi of Hardwari village of Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, lived in the Sachin area of ​​Surat. Shivam failed in the UPSC examination by one mark. He was under stress after failing in the UPSC examination. On Thursday (November 21), he left home saying that he was leaving and committed suicide by jumping from the seventh floor of the Nilkanth Heights Society building. The death of the young man has left the family in a state of grief. The family says, ‘The deceased Shivam wanted to become an IPS officer. He was preparing a lot. He was under mental stress for a long time after failing in UPSC. He was also being given medicines.’ The police are currently conducting further investigation into the young man’s suicide.
