Cold weather has taken hold across the state. People are experiencing bitter cold in the second week of January. Due to the change in the weather for many days, the temperature is gradually increasing, as if the temperature is decreasing. The effect of this weather is also being seen in the state capital. The citizens of Gandhinagar are experiencing cold snap from morning to evening. On Wednesday (January 8), a record-breaking 6 degree Celsius was recorded in Gandhinagar amidst cold winds. Due to the changed weather across the state a few days ago, the temperature was also decreasing. On the other hand, due to the decrease in the minimum temperature due to the snowfall in North India, the residents of Gandhinagar were facing cold. However, due to the sudden change in the weather, fluctuations are being recorded in the maximum and minimum temperature. Currently, the second week of January has witnessed an aggressive cold season. The cold snap has intensified for the past several days, and on Wednesday, Gandhinagar became the coldest city in the state after Naliya. The morning temperature was 6 degrees and the evening temperature was 25.8 degrees. Due to a drop of five and a half degrees in the minimum temperature in a single day, the townspeople are facing bone-chilling cold. However, despite a difference of 20 degrees between day and night temperatures, the cold wave continues.
