According to the Director of the Meteorological Department, A.K. Das, winds are currently coming from the north and north-east direction over the state of Gujarat. Due to these winds remaining dry, the heat has increased. On the other hand, due to the moisture of the Arabian Sea, the coastal areas will experience gusty winds. The maximum temperature of Gujarat will remain unchanged for the next 24 hours, after which there is a possibility of an increase of two to three degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature may increase by two to three degrees Celsius during the next three days, which means that there is no possibility of winter effects in Gujarat now. During the last 24 hours, the highest maximum temperature in Gujarat was recorded in Rajkot at 37.5 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature in Ahmedabad was 35 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature has decreased by two degrees Celsius compared to last week, still the minimum temperature in Ahmedabad and the surrounding areas is being recorded three degrees Celsius higher than normal. Compared to previous years, the minimum temperature of Ahmedabad city during this time is around 15 to 16 degrees Celsius, but this year the month of February is experiencing scorching heat. During the last 24 hours, the minimum temperature of Ahmedabad city was 18.5 degrees, but the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of an increase of two to three degrees Celsius in the minimum temperature in the next three days. During the next 24 hours, the weather in Ahmedabad and the surrounding areas is likely to remain dry, with the maximum temperature around 35 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature around 19 degrees Celsius.
