As part of an important initiative for farmers, the Farmer Registry was started in Gujarat from October 15th to link the land records of the farmer account holders with the unique ID under the Agristec project. Due to a technical glitch on the Agristec-Farmer Registry portal, registration was closed on this portal. Now that this glitch has been resolved, the registration process has been restarted. So far, more than 11.57 lakh farmers of Gujarat have completed the Farmer Registry. As a result, Gujarat ranks first in the Farmer Registry in the entire country. As per the instructions of the Government of India, it is planned to complete the Farmer Registry of all farmers of Gujarat by March 2024 under the Agristec project. While the beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana were asked to compulsorily register the farmer by 30th November to get the next December installment. Farmers who have registered the farmer by 30th November will get the December installment under the PM Kisan Yojana. Other farmers will be eligible to receive the benefits of the PM Kisan Yojana after completing the farmer registry.

Free farmer registry from the e-Gram Kendra:
Farmers can register the farmer at the e-Gram Kendra without paying any charges. For the farmer registry, farmers should contact the Talati/Gram Sevak of their village and register through the designated operator only without opening any wrong or incorrect application or link. Apart from this, farmers can also do self-registration through the official application. For self-registration, take special care not to be influenced by any false information found on social media.
