In Ahmedabad, severe heat like Bhadrava has started falling in Shravan itself. Ahmedabad’s average maximum temperature was 3.5 degrees above normal on Tuesday at 36.1 degrees. This is the highest temperature recorded in August in last 3 years in Ahmedabad. The heat and unbearable heat started in Ahmedabad from Monday morning itself. The maximum temperature of Ahmedabad has increased by 3 degrees in the last four days as the rains continue. The air humidity was recorded as 73 percent. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, the temperature of Ahmedabad is likely to remain around 35 degrees for the next four days. According to the prediction of a private weather forecasting agency, there is no chance of rain in Ahmedabad till August 25 and only scattered showers are possible.
Elsewhere in the state on Monday, the average maximum temperature was 35.6 in Surendranagar, 35.4 in Rajkot-Vadodara-Bhavnagar-Disa, 35 in Gandhinagar-Bhuj, 34.8 in Surat, 34.4 in Porbandar, 34 in Valsad. According to the forecast of the meteorological department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Dang-Tapi-Navsari-Valsad-Daman-Dadara Nagar Haveli next Wednesday-Thursday.
