Gautam Adani is currently in India. The US investigation agency may request his extradition. However, Indian courts will decide whether the charges apply under Indian law. However, Adani may oppose extradition, which could delay the process. If found guilty, Adani could face up to five years in prison for bribery. He could also face up to 20 years in prison for fraud and conspiracy. He could also face a hefty fine. Any sentence will ultimately depend on the judge handling the case.
