The trends seen so far regarding the results of the Maharashtra Assembly elections have seen a wave of BJP. The Mahayuti alliance is leading in 210 seats. While the Maha Vikas Aghadi is leading in 67 seats. In the Mahayuti too, the BJP is leading in 125 seats. Considering this, political analysts are speculating whether the stature of Ajit Pawar and Eknath Shinde will decrease.
Out of the 210 seats of the Mahayuti, BJP has 125 seats:
The Mahayuti alliance is leading in 210 seats. In which BJP alone is leading in 125 seats. Shiv Sena has 55 and Ajit Pawar’s NCP has taken the lead in 34 seats. Due to this trend, political analysts are claiming that BJP is capable of forming a government on its own. However, the real trend will be known only after the complete results are out. With BJP getting a majority, the dominance of Shinde and Ajit Pawar in the next government may decrease. It will affect the bargaining power. The way these two parties used to show their dominance in this alliance. It may decrease.
The Chief Minister’s post may remain with BJP:
If BJP wins with a majority, then the Chief Minister’s post may remain with BJP. After these election results, the CM post of Maharashtra may be taken away from Eknath Shinde. Since Shinde and Pawar are also in the majority of BJP, no one will be able to oppose. The allocation of the cabinet will also be affected. They will not be able to put pressure on BJP.
