Ahmedabad : Smart City Ahmedabad is now becoming Bhubaneswar. In the monsoon season that started from June this year, a total of 44 landslides have fallen in various areas of the city so far. The municipal system has spent more than Rs. 1.20 crore for the repair of this building. In the last four years, a total of 363 landslides were reported in different areas of the city. It has been learned that an expenditure of Rs. 50 crore has been made by the municipal system for its repair.

For the last few years in Ahmedabad, apart from the monsoon season, roads are falling due to different reasons. The SmartCity Municipal Corporation administration uses the term breakdown instead of using the term Bhuwa. The cause of falling on the roads in various areas is mainly due to the breakdown of machine holes, drainage lines or RCC ducts, which is being advanced by the administration.

14 collapses due to drainage line collapse:

This year, 14 deaths occurred due to the collapse of drainage lines in different areas of the city. The municipal system spent Rs. 73.12 lakhs for the repair of this building. 11 ships were lost due to the collapse in the engine room. 47.5 lakh rupees were spent on its repair. There were 19 landslides in the city due to other reasons. The municipal system has spent more than Rs. 1.20 crore for the repair of 44 potholes.
