Due to the recent heavy rains in the Gulbai Tekra area of Ahmedabad city, several poor and needy families were placed in a difficult situation. Owing to continuous waterlogging, conditions were such that many families were unable even to light their stoves to cook. Keeping this tough situation in mind, ‘Team Chiranjeevi’ of the film ‘Get Set Go’, which is scheduled for release on August 7, 2026, came forward and set an outstanding example of humanity.
Team Chiranjeevi personally visited the rain-affected Gulbai Tekra area and distributed nutritious food packets along with bottles of clean drinking water to local families. During this relief work, team members listened to the hardships of the affected people and assured them of all possible support.
Renowned Bollywood actor Deepak Tijori, Gujarati cinema actors Jinal Belani, Bhaumik Sampat, Samvedna Suwalka, and Om Bhatt, along with the entire Team Chiranjeevi, were present on the ground to participate in the distribution efforts.
It is worth noting that the film ‘Get Set Go’, produced by Valmiki Pictures and Jaliyan Group and directed by Arnav Kumar, is based on a thrilling journey centered on cycling, adventure, and the fight for justice. Crafted with high-tech VFX, action, and visuals of Ahmedabad’s iconic Riverfront, the film features actors in the roles of ‘Chiranjeevi’ embarking on a special mission. While performing daring stunts on screen, the team also set a commendable example in real life by carrying out social service under ‘Mission Chiranjeevi’. The team expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Gujarat Police for their dedication, service, and commendable cooperation in completing this relief drive safely and successfully.
Team Chiranjeevi stated “This is not just a single day’s help, but the beginning of our ongoing responsibility toward society. We appeal to every section of society to join this humanitarian campaign in as large numbers as possible. Every small help from us can ignite a bright lamp of hope in someone’s difficult life.”
