(August 19). A class 8 student stabbed a class 10 student to death outside the school in a simple matter like a scuffle. The student was seriously injured in the incident and was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Maninagar, where he died during treatment. After the student’s death, a large number of angry Sindhi community members reached the school and vandalized it. It is worth mentioning that the accused student is a resident of Shah Alam. The mob entered the school and beat up whoever they came across. They vandalized buses, cars and two-wheelers parked in the parking lot. Later, they grabbed a staff member and took him to the upper floor. Along with this, they also washed him in front of the principal and other staff. They broke the doors of the school building, broke the glass, and damaged the property. As the situation deteriorated, the police also reached the school. The mob continued to beat the staff in front of the police. The situation was so terrible that even when the police were rescuing the staff, the mob was beating them and the police vehicle was also lifted by the mob. Later, the angry mob came outside the school and sat on the road and blocked the road. Maninagar MLA, DCP Baldev Desai and ACP have reached the school. Along with this, Bajrang Dal, VHP, ABVP workers reached the school wearing saffron sashes and raising slogans of Jai Shri Ram. More than 2 thousand people had gathered outside the school and raised slogans of Police Hai Hai. The police have tried to control the situation by lathi-charge. State Education Minister Praful Pansheriya said that this incident is a matter of social reflection and contemplation for all of us. The District Education Officer and his team will conduct a thorough investigation into this serious matter. The Education Department will take necessary steps to prevent such incidents from happening again in the future. The state government and the Education Department are constantly trying to provide education with spirituality. The relatives of the deceased are expressing their anger and demanding that the accused be hanged. Along with this, there is also a demand to close the school. BJP MLA from Maninagar Amul Bhatt has requested the people with folded hands to disperse from here gradually. We will present all your representations to the state government and we have already presented them at present. The last rites of the deceased son are yet to be performed, so I request all the people to join the last rites. We will present any representations of the parents to the state government. As elected representatives, we are here among you and we will be present here. We are ready to be present wherever you are needed. Officers including Sector 2 JCP, Zone 6 DCP and Crime JCP have already left the scene. Along with this, Maninagar MLA Amul Bhatt has also left the school. The police convoy of Crime Branch DCP and Zone 5 DCP is currently present. Along with this, the Crime Branch team has reached inside the school.
