The country and the world are now moving towards digitalization. Now Indian Railways is also updating itself about this. Indian Railways is now making the journey of passengers easier through the use of technology. For which now the passengers have been relieved of the long lines to buy tickets. ATVM machines have been installed at five railway stations including Kalupur railway station in Ahmedabad. With the help of which, just like getting money from an ATM, passengers will be able to get tickets from the ATVM machine. So that passengers can get tickets immediately, the Railway department has installed ATVM i.e. Automatic Ticket Vending Machines. With the help of which, just as passengers used to get tickets from the ticket counter earlier, now they will be able to get tickets themselves through the machine. People will be able to get unreserved tickets themselves through the ATVM machine. Passengers can also get travel tickets, platform and season passes through the machine. The Railway department has installed ATVM machines not only in Kalupur but also in 4 other places. Out of which 3 ATVM machines have been installed in Ahmedabad, 2 in Sabarmati, 1 in Viramgam, 1 in Mehsana and 1 in Gandhidham.

How to get tickets? :
First select the destination station from the map shown in ATVM or by typing.
Then select the type of train. (Like, Mail/Express or Superfast)
Then select one of the options from Smart Card or QR Code for payment.
You can make the payment by scanning the QR Code with BHIM, PhonePe, GPay, Paytm etc.
The payment has to be completed within 108 seconds by entering the UPI PIN.
Apart from this, payment can also be made through Smart Card.
