Eight people died in a road accident in Uttar Pradesh’s Kannauj, luxury bus crushed in a terrible collision with a truck

Eight people died in a road accident in Uttar Pradesh’s Kannauj. The accident took place near the Auraiya border on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway. 19 people were also injured in the accident due to a collision between a sleeper bus and a water tanker. All the injured have been admitted to Saifai Medical College and Tirwa Medical College for treatment. A total of 40 people were on board the bus. Police said that legal action is being taken in the matter. The bus completely overturned after colliding with the tanker. Police and locals are helping the injured in the accident there. After the incident, Kannauj police issued a statement and said, ‘A double-decker bus in the Sakrava area hit a water tanker from behind, which was watering plants on the divider. On receiving the information, a team of police, UPIDA and ambulance immediately reached the spot and carried out a rescue operation. 8 people lost their lives and 19 people were injured in the accident. Their families are being informed. The Superintendent of Police of Kannauj told the media that this bus was going from Lucknow to Delhi. As soon as the information about the accident was received, a rescue operation was carried out. The injured people were taken to the hospital. Alternative buses have been arranged for other passengers.
