The results of the Maharashtra assembly elections are to be declared tomorrow. Considering the exit polls, everyone is in a state of confusion, especially if both the alliances get 19-20 seats with a difference of 19-20, then there may be obstacles in forming the government. Mahayuti and Maha Vikas Aghadi are trying their best to retain all the MLAs of their supporting parties. There is a fear in the opposition that the BJP-supporting alliance will start ‘Operation Lotus’. Sanjay Raut, Congress leader Balasaheb Thorat and NCP-SP’s Jayant Patil held a meeting yesterday to discuss the issue. They fear that if both the alliances get seats with a marginal difference, BJP and Eknath Shinde may try to buy off leaders of other parties. So they have decided to send most of the MLAs and leaders to the Congress-ruled states of Telangana and Karnataka. These MLAs will be sent out of the state on Saturday evening as soon as the election results are announced. The MLAs will be called back from outside only when one of the alliances stakes claim to form the government. Moreover, independent and small party leaders can also be contacted. So that the top parties of the alliance are already trying to sway the MLAs in their favor. A senior Congress leader said that we are confident that our government will be formed, the exit polls will be proven wrong once again. If the results are interesting, the MLAs will be sent out of the state. It has not been clarified yet where these MLAs will be sent. But they can be sent to the Congress-ruled states of Telangana and Karnataka. So that police help and hotels can be arranged there. However, currently all the parties are adopting a wait-and-see policy until the results come. It is worth mentioning that the Ladli Behen scheme will benefit the BJP. Also, the high turnout also indicates that the BJP and the Mahayuti will benefit. Devendra Fadnavis said that high turnout has always been beneficial for us.
