
The Bengal Cultural Association (BCA), Ahmedabad, today announced its extensive plans for the 88th Kalibari Durga Puja celebrations, set to take place from September 27th to October 2nd, 2025. Preparations are in full swing to host one of Gujarat’s most magnificent Durga Puja festivals, promising a grand fusion of devotion, tradition, art, and culture over a sprawling event area of more than 100,000 square feet.
This year’s celebration is designed to be a vibrant cultural cauldron, showcasing the rich heritage of Bengal. The six-day festivities will commence with Anandamela on September 27th and culminate with the Maha Dashami idol immersion on October 2nd. The association anticipates a daily footfall of approximately 70,000 devotees and visitors, who will partake in the sacred morning ‘Bhog’ and the spectacular evening cultural programs.
