
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is presenting the budget. Giving a big gift to the farmers, she has announced the Pradhan Mantri Dhan-Dhanya scheme. This scheme will include 100 districts with high production, intensive modern agriculture and lower than average interest rates. This will benefit 1.7 crore farmers. Nirmala Sitharaman said that the central government will run the scheme together with the state governments. Our focus will be on the improvement of the poor, women, farmers and youth. Attention is being paid to farm growth, manufacturing and rural development. Attention will be paid to reforms in the financial sector. Along with giving the gift of Dhan-Dhanya scheme to the farmers, she has also given another big gift to the farmers. While presenting the budget, the Finance Minister has announced that the limit of Kisan Credit Card has been increased from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 5 lakh now. Along with this, he said that reforms in tax, electricity, agriculture, mining and urban areas will be taken forward. Our target is to eradicate poverty within a developed India, 100 percent quality education, affordable and widespread health services will be ensured.
A big gift for Bihar’s Makhana farmers:
He said that the purpose of this budget is to take forward transformative reforms. A big gift has come out of the Finance Minister’s hand for Bihar’s farmers. Nirmala Sitharaman has announced that a Makhana Board will be formed in Bihar. In it, from the production of Makhana to its marketing, its promotion will be done. People involved in this work will be organized as FPOs. Nirmala Sitharaman said that the government has reopened 3 urea plants that were closed in the eastern region for self-reliance in urea production. To increase the supply of urea, a plant with an annual capacity of 12.7 lakh metric tonnes will be set up in Namrup, Assam.
