Vadodara: Large quantities of seized liquor and ayurvedic cough syrup from seven police station areas of Vadodara were bulldozed and destroyed today. Over 90,000 bottles of liquor worth Rs.1.62 crore seized in seven police station areas including Jawahar Nagar, Gorwa, Laxmipura under Zone-1 of Vadodara City Police Station were cleared today as per court orders. On the ground at Nandesari-Jawahar Nagar Road, a quantity of bottles were lined up and bulldozed over them under the supervision of senior police officers and officials including the Executive Magistrate. A quantity of the controversial intoxicating Ayurvedic cup syrup was also placed in this quantity.
