Pan India initiative implemented in collaboration with community partners like Give Me Trees Trust, Catch Foundation, and Communitree
New Delhi, 5th June 2026: In a landmark initiative to mark World Environment Day, PNB Housing Finance rolled out its first-ever nationwide employee volunteering drive, uniting more than 800 employees across a targeted network of 12 offices, including their corporate office. The programme was implemented in collaboration with community partners like Give Me Trees Trust, Catch Foundation and Communitree.
Employees enthusiastically participated in activities such as tree plantation, bird nest-making, notebook upcycling, and community clean-up drives:
Initiated plantation of 1 lakh trees in Delhi NCR belt
Over 200 saplings planted across locations to promote environmental sustainability
More than 125 kgs of waste collected and cleaned from community areas
360+ notebooks created using recycled paper, to be donated to underprivileged children from nearby schools
75 safe, eco-friendly nests created and installed to support birds
