There’s already a lot of chatter around Star Plus’ upcoming fashion special ‘Fashion Ke Rang, Rishton Ke Sang’, and from what we hear, the channel is pulling out all stops to turn it into television’s own Met Gala moment. Set to air on 1st June at 7 PM, the event is expected to bring together the entire Star Parivaar under one roof for a night filled with fashion, entertainment, and candid moments.
There’s already considerable buzz around the special, especially because audiences will get to see their favourite television stars in avatars completely different from their onscreen personalities. Unlike their everyday looks, several actors will reportedly walk the ramp in state-inspired ensembles celebrating India’s cultural diversity. Prem and Raahi are said to be representing Gujarat in traditional Gujarati outfits, while Sailee and Sachin will bring Maharashtra’s essence alive. Armaan and Abhira are expected to showcase Rajasthan’s vibrant culture, Sriti and Shabbir will represent Madhya Pradesh, Ishaan and Noyonika will add a Bengali touch, while Angad and Vrinda too will be seen in Gujarati-inspired looks.
However, one of the moments currently grabbing the most attention online is Rupali Ganguli’s candid reaction to dressing up so differently from her iconic character, Anupama. Speaking during the event shoot, Rupali shared, “Maine kuch din pehele ek Met Gala wala post dala tha, mujhe bahut maza aa raha tha jab sab fans apne costume change kar rahe the Met Gala look mein. Ussi se Star Plus walon ne ye sab socha hai. But I am quite enjoying this because aise kapde kahan pehenne ko milte hain. Anupama toh hamesha cotton ki saree mein hi ghumti hai, toh kuch alag karne ka mauka mil raha hai. Toh 1 June ko please zarur dekhiyega hamara ye Star Plus special.”
With behind-the-scenes videos already surfacing online and fans discussing the never-seen-before looks of their favourite stars, Fashion Ke Rang, Rishton Ke Sang is already shaping up to be one of the most talked-about television events of the season.
