Postmaster General Krishna Kumar Yadav emphasized on ‘Dak Sewa, Jan Sewa’ to extend Postal Services up to the last mile

Postmaster General Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav felicitated the Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Ahmedabad City Division Shri Chirag Mehta for achieving the highest overall revenue and growth percentage, highest Post Office Savings Bank net addition, highest growth percentage in Rural Postal Life Insurance, highest revenue achievement and growth percentage in parcel, maximum Aadhaar transactions, and outstanding performance in D+0 delivery in Speed Post/Parcels. Sr. Superintendent of RMS, Ahmedabad Division, Shri Piyush Rajak was felicitated for registering the highest growth percentage in the citizen-centric services category. Senior Superintendent of the Gandhinagar Division, Shri Shishir Kumar was felicitated for recording the highest growth percentage in the mail operations category and for securing third position in the Post Office Savings Bank net addition category. Ms. Manjulaben Patel was felicitated for securing second position in the Post Office Savings Bank net addition category in Sabarkantha Division. Shri Alpesh Shah was felicitated for achieving the highest overall revenue achievement percentage and the highest revenue achievement percentage in the parcel category at Ahmedabad GPO. Shri Harshad Parmar was felicitated for registering the highest growth percentage in the Post Office Savings Bank and Postal Life Insurance categories, and for achieving the highest revenue achievement percentage in Rural Postal Life Insurance in Patan Division. Shri Rajendrapuri Goswami was felicitated for recording the highest revenue achievement percentage in Postal Life Insurance and mail operation, as well as the highest revenue achievement and growth percentage in international mail in Banaskantha Division. Shri Siraj Mansuri was felicitated for achieving the highest revenue achievement percentage in the Post Office Savings Bank category in Mahesana Division. P. J. Solanki, Sr. Postmaster Navrangpura Head Post Office and Shri D M Rathod, Postmaster of Gandhinagar Head Post Office were also recognised as the Top Performer under the ‘Postal Warrior’ campaign for generating the highest business.

During the review meeting, the Divisional Superintendents of various Divisions presented the work being done in their respective Divisions in front of Postmaster General Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav, which was discussed and analysed in detail. During the review, special emphasis was laid on ensuring the timely achievement of targets aligned with future priorities and securing sustained business growth. Postmaster General Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav, IPoS motivated all officers and employees to work with enthusiasm, dedication, and commitment towards achieving the targets set for the current financial year.
