After the resounding success of its ‘Deep Dive’ initiative in 2025, Canon India, one of the leading digital imaging companies, has launched, ‘Deep Dive 2.0’, the second edition of its hands on learning initiative. Kicking off with Ahmedabad, the program enables participants to deeply engage with Canon’s advanced imaging technology while gaining practical exposure to real-world production and post-production workflows under the guidance of experienced industry professionals.
Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Vishesh Magoo, Assistant Director, Imaging Communication Business Centre, Canon India, said, “Following the strong success of Deep Dive in 2025, we are excited to launch the evolved Deep Dive 2.0. At Canon, we believe today’s creators require more than just advanced technology, they need skills, knowledge, mentorship, and access to real-world opportunities to succeed. Aligned with Canon’s commitment to foster growth of the photography and videography segment, this initiative provides creators with hands-on immersive learning and practical insights to strengthen their market positioning. The response so far has been extremely encouraging, and we look forward to expanding this program to reach more creators across India.”
The Ahmedabad workshop featured Canon EOS Maestro Photriya Venky, a celebrated wedding photographer, filmmaker, educator, and two-time TEDx speaker with over 25 years of experience. Having captured more than 4,400 weddings and 1,200+ celebrity shoots across film, fashion, and industrial segments, Venky shared deep insights into crafting compelling wedding narratives and demonstrated practical techniques for professional filmmaking. Participants also experienced real-world workflows, gaining hands-on exposure to Canon’s imaging technology and learning how to translate their skills into profitable creative ventures.
