Swiggy (NSE: SWIGGY/BSE: 544285), India’s pioneering on-demand convenience platform partnered with Robin Hood Army (RHA) and organized a ‘Winter Wonderland’ campaign—a heart-warming winter initiative aimed at spreading warmth, care and nourishment among the vulnerable communities across India. The campaign focused on providing freshly prepared meals during the peak winter period to individuals and families most in need and was live in 56 cities across 14 states in India. As temperatures dipped across Gujarat, Swiggy and RHA distributed 490 freshly prepared meals of Puri, Sabzi and sweets, to children living in open slums, residents of orphanages, and individuals living on the streets and other underprivileged communities across Anand, Bhesan, Botad, Gandhidham, JunagadhSurendranagar, amongst others. With Swiggy’s support, RHA volunteers were able to organize and execute meal distribution across multiple cities.   Talking about the initiative, Sidharth Bhakoo, Chief Business Officer, Swiggy Food Marketplace shared & At Swiggy, we have constantly leveraged our pan India presence, scale and resources to spread cheer. Winter Wonderland, organized in partnership with Robin Hood Army, was another step in thedirection to ensure that the joy of a warm, fresh meal reaches those who need it the most during the harsh winter months.” Elaborating on the same, Vasundhara Bhandari, National Social Media Representative, from Robin Hood Army shared “Winter Wonderland with Swiggy was a reminder that compassion multiplies when organisations and communities come together. Through this initiative, thousands of children and vulnerable individuals across cities received not just meals, but warmth, care, and the feeling of togetherness.”
