Republic Day 2026 This Republic Day, Nick turned the spotlight on the voices that matter most—the voices of children—by empowering kids and their families to present a one-of-a-kind ‘Kidstitution’ at the Bombay High Court. In a joyful and meaningful celebration of democracy, young minds came together to share their ideas on making India a happier, kinder and more inclusive place.
Bringing the initiative to life were Nick’s much-loved Nicktoons, Chikoo and Bunty, who joined an enthusiastic squad of children as they confidently presented their ‘Kidstitution’. From quirky demands like justice from vegetables such as lauki on their plates to thoughtful and relevant asks such as more space to play, reduced work pressure, spending more time with parents, and kindness towards all living beings, the ‘Kidstitution’ beautifully reflected the imagination, innocence and insight of today’s children.
The ‘Kidstitution’ was presented to distinguished officials including Adv. Harshad V. Nimbalkar, Chairman, Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa; Adv. Dr. Uday Warunjikar, Vice-Chairman, Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa; Adv. Sudeep Pasbola, Member & Former Chairman, BCMG; Adv. Vitthal Konde Deshmukh, Member & Former Chairman, BCMG; and Shri Sharad Bagul, Secretary, BCMG.
Commenting on the initiative, Adv. Harshad Vasantrao Nimbalkar, Chairman, Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa, said,“This is a very unique initiative — ‘The Kidstitution’ of India. We are truly fascinated by the fact that kids are taking interest in the Constitution of India. The declarations made are equally appealing — Equality of Voice, Justice from Lauki, Homework Flexibility, More Space to Play, Reduced Work Pressure and Kindness for All. The emphasis on children spending more time with their parents is the need of the hour, as it plays a crucial role in their upbringing. Thank you for bringing such a meaningful thought to life.”
With this heartwarming Republic Day celebration, Nick once again reinforced its commitment to empowering children, giving them a platform to be heard and reminding everyone that when kids speak, the future listens.
