
Flight disruptions caused by IndiGo’s ongoing operational crisis continued unabated on Monday, with Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport witnessing over 40 cancellations through the day. Both arrivals and departures were severely affected, leaving hundreds of passengers stranded and forcing many to rebook or modify travel plans at short notice.According to the airport’s updated flight information, 21 arrivals and 23 departures operated by IndiGo were cancelled, marking yet another day of massive disruption at Gujarat’s busiest aviation hub. Today’s cancellations follow over 65 flights scrapped on Sunday, which left thousands of passengers stranded at the airport. Many said the airline informed them about the cancellations at the last minute. On Monday, flights from major metros and key cities, including Delhi (6E 6792, 6E 2262, 6E 163, 6E 5317), Mumbai (6E 5251, 6E 534, 6E 802), Hyderabad (6E 883, 6E 6927, 6E 6338), as well as services from Goa, Pune, Chennai, Amritsar, Srinagar, Lucknow, Bengaluru, and Kolkata, were cancelled. The first cancellations began shortly after midnight, impacting flights scheduled from 00:05 hrs to 23:50 hrs.
