
Diljit Dosanjh is embroiled in controversy for working with Pakistani actress Hania Aamir in the film ‘Sardar G-3’. The Indian Film Federation has demanded a complete ban on him. Meanwhile, the singer and actor has shared a cryptic post on the censor board and said, ‘The fight is starting now’. Diljit also mentioned his previous controversial film ‘Punjab 95’, which is yet to be released due to objections from the censor board.
Diljit Dosanjh shared a post on the story section of his official Instagram, in which he wrote – ‘Censor before release. I have seen ‘Punjab 95’ (film), now maybe the real fight is starting.’It is noteworthy that on June 23, Diljit Dosanjh shared the trailer of the film ‘Sardar G-3’, in which Pakistani actress Hania Aamir is seen in the lead role along with him.

As soon as the trailer was released, Diljit was accused of sedition. In fact, after the Pahalgam terror attack, all Pakistani artists have been completely banned in India. FWICE (Film Federation of Western Cine Employees) had announced at the time that if any Indian works with Pakistani artists, it will be considered sedition.
Gunbir Singh Sandhu, the producer of the film ‘Sardar G-3’, has clarified the matter as the controversy escalates. In an interview given to India Today, he said – ‘This film was shot before the conflict with Pakistan. Keeping in mind the sentiments of Indians, it is not being released in India.’
The film ‘Sardar G-3’ will not be released in India.
It is worth noting that the film ‘Sardar G-3’ is not releasing in India. Diljit had announced with the trailer that the film will be released abroad. The makers will release the film in North America, UK, Canada and the Middle East on June 27.
