After the Pahalgam attack, the Indian Army destroyed Pakistan’s terrorist hideouts in Operation Sindoor, which lasted four days. The airports that were temporarily closed after the recent military conflict between India and Pakistan are now being reopened immediately. Flights resumed at the Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport in Mohali on Monday. According to the information provided by the Airports Authority of India, all 32 closed airports in India, including 7 in Gujarat, are being reopened with immediate effect and along with this, it has been announced to open the airspace for passenger aircraft. Earlier on May 7, the Indian Army carried out attacks on 9 terrorist hideouts in Pakistan under Operation Sindoor, after which there was a military conflict between the two countries for four days. Although a ceasefire was agreed upon between the two countries on May 10, information came to light that Pakistan had violated the ceasefire again. After that, the Indian government issued a strong message. It is worth mentioning that 32 airports in India have now opened with immediate effect. Although the decision to impose this restriction on airspace was in effect till Saturday morning, it was later extended till 5:29 am on May 15. After which all the warnings have been withdrawn today. Now the process of reopening these airports has started and they have been opened with immediate effect. The reopened airports include Adampur, Ambala, Amritsar, Avantipur, Bathinda, Bhuj, Bikaner, Chandigarh, Halwara, Hindon, Jaisalmer, Jammu, Jamnagar, Jodhpur, Kangra, Keshod, Kishangarh, Kullu Manali, Leh, Mundra, Naliya, Pathankot, Patiala, Porbandar, Rajkot, Sarsava, Shimla, Srinagar, Thois, Uttarlai and Ludhiana.
