The Indian Army has made preparations for winter on the LAC. The army is going to use all-terrain vehicles (ATV) for patrolling and surveillance in snowy and difficult areas. A video of which has been shared by the Army’s Fire and Fury Corps on its X handle. This ATV is designed to operate in any type of geographical conditions of the world. One of these is also deployed in Kutch, Gujarat. These ATVs include Polaris Sportsman, Polaris RZR and JSW-Gecko ATOR. They can climb, walk and run on any type of difficult climb, slope, rocky path. The LAC area near Ladakh is a vast area covered with snow. Indian soldiers need to have modern weapons, uniforms, vehicles and other facilities to conduct surveillance here. These vehicles are made according to low weight and high-mobility. Its maneuvering is very easy. It can run on any type of road.
Patrolling started after a long time:
After the Indian-Chinese armies retreated from the Depsang plains and Demchok area, this vehicle has been included so that patrolling can be done quickly and over long distances. This patrolling has been started after a long dispute. Therefore, the need for such vehicles increases, which can take soldiers on such dangerous roads. Through this, the Indian Army will be able to deploy its soldiers to the right place if needed. Surveillance can be done quickly. Monitoring can be done. Soldiers will be able to reach strategic points and their bases in any type of weather. The army is also believing that patrolling near the Line of Actual Control has become easier due to this vehicle. If any kind of problem arises, then with its help, it can be reached anywhere immediately.
