Winter has finally started setting in Gujarat. Last night, Naliya recorded the lowest temperature of the season at 10.8 degrees. The Meteorological Department has predicted that the cold will increase further as the temperature will drop by 3 degrees during the next two days.

The average minimum temperature of Naliya was recorded at 1.8 degrees below normal. According to the Meteorological Department’s forecast, the minimum temperature of Naliya is likely to be 19 degrees for the next five days. On the other hand, the average minimum temperature in Ahmedabad at 13.2 degrees was 1.2 degrees below normal. Apart from this, last night’s temperature in Ahmedabad was the lowest temperature of the season. The Meteorological Department has predicted that the temperature of Ahmedabad will remain around 12 degrees for the next five days. According to weather experts, Ahmedabad will experience a cold snap with temperatures ranging between 11 and 13 degrees for the next week. Other places in the state where a cold snap was felt last night include Dahod, Deesa, Gandhinagar and Rajkot.
