Karyakkar Suvarna Mahotsav’ was organized by BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad today. At that time, more than 1 lakh workers from Gujarat, other states and abroad were present at the stadium in Ahmedabad in this festival. At that time, Mahant Swami Maharaj came to the stadium to bless all the workers. The Karyakar Suvarna Mahotsav is being celebrated grandly with various music and dance programs at the stadium.

Bhupendra Patel gave his address:
Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel said, ‘My greetings to all the Swamis, Mahants, Ministers, Haribhaktas present at the BAPS Karyakar Suvarna Mahotsav, Jai Swami Narayan… We have all gathered on the occasion of the 103rd birth anniversary of Pramukh Swami Maharaj. It is my good fortune that I got the opportunity to be present on this divine occasion. I pay homage to Pujya Pramukh Swami Maharaj, who gave the message of love and compassion to the entire world. Pujya Shastriji Maharaja planted a tree of rituals. I think this program is the golden festival of the golden karyakars.’

Brahmavihari Swami said during his speech, ‘The stadium has been completely filled for the second time after the India-Pakistan match. In a match, when one team wins and one loses, there is sorrow on one side and happiness on the other, there are two kinds of situations. But this time in this stadium, there is happiness, enthusiasm and joy all around. This is the BAPS team which is one. ‘A banyan tree grew from a small seed.’ In which the exciting story of how the services of these volunteers spread across India and the world and how these workers remained dutiful even in the midst of many adverse circumstances was presented. Along with this, a speech was presented on the special occasions of the women workers and men workers of BAPS who remained steadfast in service even in adverse situations.

Anand Swaroop Swamiji said that all the workers of BAPS have been serving for many years. Some of them have been serving for decades. All these workers serve selflessly. I will tell you one occasion that in 1992, Akshardham in Gandhinagar was inaugurated. Along with this, the birth centenary festival of Prabhuswarup Yogiji Maharaj was celebrated for 34 days, when lakhs of devotees came. In which the chief executive of IIM came there. He was impressed by seeing this arrangement. Along with this, he went to a saint during the festival and said that he had sat for three hours and learned about this arrangement. Then the saint said that the main contribution of the workers is behind this big success. Jai Ho… Anand Chayo… The stadium echoed with the sound of the golden festival. The entire stadium was overflowing with more than one lakh workers in the celebration of ‘Karyakr Suvarna Mahotsav’. Programs including music, dance have been started in this grand celebration.

Traffic will be closed on this route:
According to a notification issued by Ahmedabad Traffic Police, the road from Sabarmati Janpath to Motera Stadium Main Gate, Krupa Residency, Motera has been closed for traffic. While the road from Nana Chiloda to Apollo Circle will be closed for heavy vehicle traffic.
