Fadnavis said- Ministers will take oath before the winter session: Special session from 7 to 9 December, Speaker will decide on the Leader of the Opposition

On the 13th day of Maharashtra election results, Devendra Fadnavis took oath as Chief Minister and Eknath Shinde-Ajit Pawar took oath as Deputy Chief Ministers. After much deliberation, Shinde became the second leader of Maharashtra to accept the post of Deputy CM, who became Deputy CM from CM. NCP leader Ajit Pawar has become Deputy CM for the sixth time. He has become the first leader of Maharashtra to become Deputy CM in the Congress, Mahayuti and Maha Vikas Aghadi governments. Devendra Fadnavis held a press conference after taking over as Chief Minister. He said- Ministers will be sworn in and given their portfolios before the winter session of the assembly. The Speaker will decide whether the post of Leader of the Opposition in the Maharashtra Assembly will be given or not. A special session of the Maharashtra Assembly will be held on December 7, 8 and 9. The election of the Speaker will be held on December 9. Our role has changed, our direction has not changed. The cabinet has been decided. There will be no more changes in this. You will see a government that will take everyone together. If problems arise, we will find a way together and take Maharashtra forward. Currently, Rs 1500 is given under the Ladli Behan scheme, it will be increased to Rs 2100. First we will strengthen the financial resources, then we will increase it.

Devendra Fadnavis took oath as the Chief Minister for the third time in 10 years. He is the first BJP leader to do so. After taking oath, he went to PM Modi and congratulated him. After Fadnavis, former Chief Minister Eknath Shinde took oath as Deputy CM. Before taking oath, he named Balasaheb Thackeray and Anand Dighe. He thanked Prime Minister Modi and Amit Shah. He is the second leader of the state to become Deputy CM after the CM. After Shinde, NCP leader Ajit Pawar took oath as Deputy CM. He has become the Deputy CM of the state for the sixth time. He has become the first leader from Maharashtra to become Deputy CM in both the Mahayuti and Mahavikas Aghadi coalition governments. The oath-taking ceremony began at 5:31 pm on Thursday at Mumbai’s Azad Maidan, which lasted for about 30 minutes. The three leaders took oath in Marathi in front of Governor CP Radhakrishnan. Apart from PM Modi, Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari, CMs and Deputy CMs of 20 NDA-ruled states and union territories Nitish Kumar, Chandrababu Naidu and other leaders were present at the ceremony.
