The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Friday launched the new jersey of the Indian cricket team ahead of the Champions Trophy. The new jersey of the Indian ODI team has the tricolor on the shoulder. BCCI Secretary and women’s cricket team captain Harmanpreet Kaur unveiled the new jersey at an event in Mumbai. BCCI has shared a video of the new jersey on X. Harmanpreet Kaur was seen in the video. In which she expressed her happiness and said, “It is an honour for me that the new jersey has been launched in my presence. I am very happy with its look. I am especially happy with the tricolor on the shoulder.’
When will Team India wear the new jersey? :
The women’s team India will wear the new jersey for the first time against West Indies. The West Indies team will visit India in December. A series of three ODIs and three T-20 matches will be played between India and West Indies. The T-20 series will start from December 15. All the matches of this series will be played in Mumbai. The ODI series will start from December 22. All the matches of which will be played in Vadodara.
