Reports have come to light that a student died and many people were injured when a bus full of students overturned in Nagpur district of Maharashtra. The students and teachers of the school had gone out for a picnic. However, their bus overturned near Pendhari village. A total of five buses from the school had gone out for a picnic. As soon as the accident was reported, the police reached the spot, while the ambulance team has taken all the injured to the nearest hospital for treatment. According to reports, a picnic was organized in neighboring Wardha district by Saraswati School located in Shankar Nagar area of Nagpur district. For which five buses full of students and teachers were going towards Wardha district. However, during this time, a bus overturned near Pendhari village. Regarding the incident, DCP Zone-1 Lohit Matani said, “Students and teachers of Saraswati School in Shankar Nagar area of Nagpur district were going towards Wardha district for a picnic. Meanwhile, their bus overturned on the Hingerni road near Devli Pendhari village in the hilly areas outside the city.” According to reports, the deceased student was studying in standard-8. A student and a teacher were seriously injured in the accident, who have been shifted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Nagpur for treatment. While the other injured have been taken to a hospital in the village itself. Police said, we have registered a case and started further action regarding the incident and are investigating the cause of the accident.
