The Constitution of India will now be available in Sanskrit and Maithili as well. As part of the celebrations of India’s 75th Constitution Day, President Draupadi Murmu released the Constitution book in Sanskrit and Maithili in the presence of Prime Minister Modi and Opposition Leader Rahul Gandhi and other MPs. Sanskrit language is the heritage of India. Maithili is also a regional language of the state of Bihar in the northern part of the country and the Terai region of Nepal. The Devanagari script is used to write this language. Which many people in the northern part can read and write even today. As part of the celebrations of Constitution Day, a special postage stamp and coin were also unveiled. On the occasion of Constitution Day, the Central Government has also launched a new website https: //constitution75.com in the joint session of Parliament, which will encourage citizens to preserve the legacy of the Constitution through various activities and resources. Joint reading of the Preamble of the Constitution will also be done in schools, cities and villages.

The Constitution continuously guides the development of the country:

Releasing the Constitution in both languages, President Murmu said, ‘The Constitution is a living, progressive document, which is continuously guiding the development of the country. In the last 75 years, our country has emerged as a brotherhood at the global level. Women have also become empowered. The aim of our Constitution is to work together with the Municipal Corporation, the Judicial Corporation and the Legislative Assembly to protect the interests of the common people.’ The Constitution of India is also available in various regional languages ​​​​apart from English, Hindi. Which includes Kannada, Gujarati, Kashmiri, Dogri, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Nepali, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Sindhi, Tamil, Bengali, Telugu, Urdu, Assamese, Bodo etc. Now it will also be available in Sanskrit and Maithili.
