Maharashtra, Jharkhand Assembly Elections: After Haryana and Jammu Kashmir assembly elections, now elections are going to be held in Maharashtra and Jharkhand. Both the states are very important politically. NDA is the government in Maharashtra, on the other hand in Jharkhand India coalition is in power. The coalition is preparing for a strong fight in both the states. RCP leader Prafull Patel also said on Monday that a common consensus has been reached among the allies of the ruling Mahayuti coalition on about 230 of the 288 seats in the Maharashtra Assembly. After the final decision on other seats, we will inform the media in next two to four days.

According to sources, after the defeat in the Haryana assembly elections, the Congress party does not want to make any mistake regarding Maharashtra and Jharkhand. The figure can be 100-100 and NCP can get 84 seats. 4 seats may be spared for smaller forces. There is also possibility of reshuffle by internal consent on some seats.
