BJP will contest on 158 out of 288 seats. BJP is ready to give 70 seats to Shinde faction of Shiv Sena. NCP Ajit Pawar group will be given 50 seats. RCP leader Prafull Patel also said on Monday that a common consensus has been reached among the allies of the ruling Mahayuti coalition on about 230 of the 288 seats in the Maharashtra Assembly. After the final decision on other seats, we will inform the media in next two to four days.

What can mathematics be in Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi?

According to sources, after the defeat in the Haryana assembly elections, the Congress party does not want to make any mistake regarding Maharashtra and Jharkhand. According to information, Congress and Shiv Sena (Uddhav) can contest elections on equal seats in the 288-member assembly. The figure can be 100-100 and NCP can get 84 seats. 4 seats may be spared for smaller forces. There is also possibility of reshuffle by internal consent on some seats. However, the number is almost agreed upon.

BJP in action mode in Jharkhand

Jharkhand has always been a strong state for the BJP. Even after a poor performance in the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP won 9 out of 14 seats. BJP has come to power in the state many times since its formation. However, after the defeat in the last assembly elections and the performance in the Lok Sabha, the BJP has changed its strategy. For the first time, BJP is going to enter the election field with many forces in the state. BJP has prepared to enter the election field along with Janata Dal United, All Jharkhand Students Union and LOJPA Ram Vilas.

How many seats in the account of which party in NDA?

Learning from the mistakes of the previous assembly elections in Jharkhand, BJP and AJSU have tried their best to strengthen the alliance. Although no official announcement has been made yet, there is talk that BJP is preparing to contest this election along with Janata Dal United, All Jharkhand Students Union (AJSU) and Lojpani. It is being discussed that BJP will contest on 67 seats in this election. Aajsu can get 9 to 11 seats. Janata Dal United is likely to leave 2 seats on account of NDA and one seat for LJP Ram Vilas. In the last election, the alliance between AJSU and BJP was broken. Both the forces had to bear the loss.

What is the equation of India alliance in Jharkhand?

The India Alliance had performed brilliantly in the last assembly elections. The RJD, Congress and JMM alliance won 47 seats in the 81-member assembly. In this election, JMM got 30 seats, Congress 16 and RJD got one. In the Lok Sabha election 2024, Bhakpa Male also entered this alliance. Out of 14 Lok Sabha seats, agreements were reached on the formula of 7,5,1,1. Congress 7, JMM 5, RJD 1 and Bhakpa Male got one seat. However, JMM is always contesting more seats in assembly elections.

CPI(M) Male expands its group, will it get more seats?

In the last assembly elections of Jharkhand, the Left was not part of the India coalition. However, in the Lok Sabha elections, one seat was given to CPI(M) Male from the India Alliance. Now, ahead of the assembly elections, late Marxist leader AK Roy’s party Marxist Coordination Committee has been dissolved in CPI-Male. After which Male has contested 4-5 seats in the assembly elections. Meanwhile, the Indian alliance is also witnessing patchwork regarding seat sharing.

Both Maharashtra and Jharkhand are states where both the BJP and the Congress depend on their alliance forces. Both the forces are trying to reach power by strengthening the alliance by any means. In both the states, the leader of the field forces is the Chief Minister. While JMM leader Hemant Soren is the CM in Jharkhand, Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde is the Chief Minister in Maharashtra. Both the states have been very important economically.
