Less than a week is left for Navali Navratri. Rain is also predicted for three days ahead of Navratri, which is likely to spoil the colors of the players and officials. Garba organizers may also face heavy losses due to rain.

Due to which the Garba plains are filled with water. As the Garba grounds were waterlogged, the organizers called an emergency meeting and deliberated on what to do if it rains during Navratri. Many organizers are already making arrangements to cover the grounds in case of Navratri rains, besides making arrangements for sponges and pumps to remove the accumulated water. Due to rain, the organizers have not started the decoration work yet. Organizers are moving towards how to complete the preparations in less time. Most of the organizers are of the opinion that the sportsmen will be able to relax during Navratri only if the rain does not become a villain.
