Surat : Traffic police have started action against people who do not follow traffic rules in Surat city. Tawai will now come against people driving over speed and wrong side vehicles. The traffic police has reported to the RTO to cancel the driving license of more than 12,600 vehicle drivers of the city. According to the information received, the Surat traffic police has prepared a report of the people who have violated the traffic rules in the city many times. In which more than 100 e-challans have come from vehicle drivers, the RTO has reported canceling the license of the vehicle drivers. Of which 12,613 drivers’ licenses may be cancelled.

Number of traffic violators more than 15 thousand:

Surat city has more than 15,000 people who have violated traffic rules more than 5 times and received e-challan. While in the last 8 months, out of 583 vehicle licenses, more than 60 licenses have been suspended for 7 months. While most of the drivers’ licenses have been suspended for 3 months. So, in case of hit and run, the driving license of the vehicle drivers has been suspended for 180 days.
