Vadodara: In Marathi Mohalla of Ajwa Road Ekta Nagar of Vadodara city, the water issue has spread anger among the locals. Despite repeated representations about this, no one is bringing a solution. There is a cry of water in Ekta Nagar Marathi Mohalla on Ajwa Road. Residents have been demanding water for the last 35 years. Even after paying money for water, people have to beg. For the first time such water lines have been seen in minority areas. Citizens have alleged that the BJP councilors did not come to the aid of those who joined hands and feet to vote. A minority has to carry water pipes from their houses to fill water barrels. Children are also having to help in filling water barrels. The locals demanded that the system provide water connection at the earliest.
