PM Modi gave green light to Gandhinagar-Ahmedabad metro train, Metro till now Rs. 64 crore revenue

Gandhinagar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Gujarat for three days. Then today (Monday) visited the houses of beneficiaries of Surya Ghar Yojana. After inaugurating the Re-Invest Summit, he now reached Sector 1 to inaugurate the metro train and inaugurated the 20.8 km long corridor of Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project Phase-II from Sector-1 station in Gandhinagar. The train will run from Motera Stadium Station to Sector-1 Metro Station in Gandhinagar from 8 AM to 6:35 PM while from Sector-1 Metro Station to Motera Stadium Metro Station from 7:20 AM to 7:20 PM.

The distance to Motera Stadium Sector-1 can be covered in 35 minutes by this metro train facility. Departing from Motera Stadium, this train will reach GNLU in 17 minutes. There will be a total of 17 trips between the two routes. In addition, GNLU Metro Station to Gift City Metro Station will run from 8:25 AM to 6:35 PM while Gift City Metro Station to GNLU Metro Station will run from 7:18 AM to 6:48 PM. GNLU will take four minutes to PDEU and 10 minutes to Gift City. There will be a total of 19 rounds in this route. There is a possibility that the fare from Motera to Sector-1 GNLU to Gift City will be increased.

The last train from Motera to Sector-1 will depart at 6 PM:

This train will start from Sector-1 at 7:20 am, reach GNLU at 7:36 am, reach Motera at 7:55 am. Last train from Sector-1 at 6:40 PM. First train from Motera at 8 am, GNLU at 8:17 am, Sector-1 at 8:35 am. The last train from Motera will depart at 6 pm. Metro Rail recorded a total of 5:28 crore passengers from October 2022 to August 2024 and generated a total revenue of Rs 64.76 crore. Thus, the metro earns an average of Rs 9.26 lakh per day.
