Many times Virat Kohli is seen on the field in a spirited attitude. However, he has many times disputed not only with the players but also with the spectators who came to the field. In the year 2012, Virat once recommended to the match referee not to ban himself. He expressed this case himself. In the year 2012, the Indian team toured Australia. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli was fielding near the boundary in the Sydney Test match. Virat faced abuse from the Australian audience. Virat also responded to the continuous trolling by raising his finger. However, controversy arose immediately after Virat’s decision. Virat revealed that he appealed to the match referee not to ban him. He said, ‘When I was fed up with the Australian audience. Then I decided to show them the finger. The match referee called me into the room the next day and asked what was the matter. What happened at the boundary yesterday? I told him nothing was just a joke. Then he showed me a picture printed in a news paper, in which I was pointing the finger at the audience. Then I told the match referee that I am sorry, please don’t ban me. The referee asked Virat to accept the mistake. After Virat also admitted the mistake, his match fee was reduced by 50 percent. Virat also shared this case on social media.’
