The accused arrested in a drug case worth seven lakhs in Vadodara absconded after being released on parole and the police caught him and handed him over to the jail. The Vadodara police raided during the delivery of drugs from Jetalpur Agrasen guest house and recovered three lakh worth of charas. After that, the police booked the other accused by seizing a total of seven lakh rupees along with Charas and other items. Shahnawaz alias Shanu Salimbhai Sheikh (Near Lal Akhara, Yakutpura) arrested in this case was recently released from jail on seven days parole. Shanun was scheduled to appear on 31st August. But as he did not appear, the crime branch team investigated and nabbed him from Fateganj Mall.
