Former Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Satyapal Malik while talking to reporters has appealed to the people of Haryana to defeat the BJP and support other forces. Malik said, ‘Whenever the time of crisis has come, the Sikh community has always stood with the country.’ Also, they have appealed to the people to defeat the BJP in the upcoming Haryana assembly elections. They have also demanded that Bollywood actress and MP from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh, Kangana Ranaut, be expelled from the BJP. Along with this, they have also questioned the action of ED. According to the Tribune, during an interaction with reporters at the Shaheed Baba Jung Singh Gurudwara, he appealed to the people of Haryana to defeat the BJP and support other forces. Malik said, ‘Whenever the time of crisis has come, the Sikh community has always stood with the country. The BJP government has failed to do its job and should no longer interfere in the affairs of Sikhs.’

Questions were also asked about Kangana Ranaut:

Malik has also questioned Kangana Ranaut, MP from Mandi. He called Kangana politically immature, adding that she does not deserve to be in the party and the BJP should throw her out. Apart from this, he has also praised Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi. They said, ‘During my tenure terrorists did not dare to reach Srinagar, but now they are attacking the army and there is no effective governance. BJP has been unsuccessful in both Delhi and Srinagar.’ It may be noted that Malik was the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir from August 2018 to October 2019. Elections are to be held in 3 phases in Jammu and Kashmir, the results of which will be announced on October 8.
