Kolkata Protest for Women Doctor Raped And Murdered In RG Kar Hospital: The case of rape and murder of a woman doctor in RG Kar Hospital in Kolkata is still under discussion. As a result, cases of violence and incidents like firing and clashes during protests have started to surface across the state. BJP announced a 12-hour bandh in Bengal today. Meanwhile, there is a report of a firing incident at the vehicle of local BJP leader Priyangu Pandey in Bhatpada. BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari claimed that the TMC workers had carried out the incident. The driver was shot.
