Stock Market Today: A flat trend has been seen in the stock market today due to global markets. Sensex and Nifty are trading marginally higher after opening on a positive note. At 10.06 a.m. the Sensex was trading at 94.22 points and the Nifty at 19.85 points. Asian stocks are also trading in a mixed tone amid rising tensions between Israel and Hezbollah and a drop in the US stock market. Notably, Sensex and Nifty have been continuously trying to reach their record highs. Yesterday, Nifty closed at 25000 level and gave a bullish message to the investors. By the time of writing the news at BSE today, 203 stocks had reached year highs and 16 stocks had reached year lows. 163 shares hit the upper circuit and 71 shares hit the lower circuit. Of the total 3364 traded shares on BSE, 2012 saw gains and 1231 declines. Which indicates that the market breadth is positive. On the NSE, on the contrary, the Nifty50 was trading 31 scrips lower and 19 scrips higher.
