Germany News : Shocking reports have surfaced of an unknown assailant wielding a knife during an event in Solingen, Germany. At least three people died in the incident while many others were said to be injured. The attack took place on Friday night during a party organized to celebrate the 650th anniversary of Solingen, the media agency reported. After the incident, the attacker managed to escape from the spot. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and shifted the injured to the hospital. People were asked to evacuate the area due to the attack. Along with this, the police started a search operation in search of the unknown assailant. CCTV footage near the spot is being scrutinized. However, the police refused to say anything about the condition of the injured. Solingen has a population of 160,000 and is located near Germany’s two largest cities, Cologne and Dusseldorf. According to local media reports, Philip Muller, one of the co-organizers of the party, said that nine people were injured in the attack, who are struggling between life and death. The program was postponed for a while. The police have cordoned off the entire city and issued an alert while increasing combing.
