Yellow alert has been declared in scattered places of Bharuch, Narmada, Valsad districts of South Gujarat on August 23 due to heavy rain. Apart from this, no warning has been declared in 30 districts.

Prediction for 24th August:
Heavy to very heavy rain has been predicted in most of the districts of South Gujarat in the state on August 24. Orange alert has been issued following heavy to very heavy rain at isolated places in Navsari, Dang and Valsad districts and yellow alert has been issued in Dahod, Chhota Udepur, Narmada, Bharuch, Surat and Tapi districts due to heavy rain.

Prediction for 25th August:
In the last week of August, Maharaja will be kind. An orange alert has been declared in Mahisagar and Dahod districts on August 25 following heavy to very heavy rains. Apart from this, Yellow Alert has been issued by the Meteorological Department for heavy rain at scattered places in Aravalli, Panchmahal, Vadodara, Chhota Udepur, Narmada, Bharuch, Surat, Tapi, Navsari, Dang and Valsad districts.

Prediction for 26th August:
According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, the state will witness heavy rainfall for five consecutive days in most parts of South Gujarat. Along with this, heavy rains have also been predicted in some districts of Saurashtra, while orange alert has been declared for heavy to very heavy rains at scattered places in Bharuch and Vadodara districts. Apart from this, the districts of Surendranagar, Botad, Bhavnagar, Amreli, Gir Somath of Saurashtra including Valsad, Navsari, Dang, Surat, Tapi, Narmada, Chhota Udepur, Panchmahal, Dahod, Mahisagar, Aravalli, Kheda, Anand, Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad have yellow warning due to heavy rain. An alert has been issued. Apart from this, no warning has been declared in Kutch, Morbi, Jamnagar, Rajkot, Devbhoomi Dwarka, Porbandar, Junagadh, Patan, Banaskantha, Sabarkantha and Mehsana districts.

Prediction for 27th August:
After five consecutive days of heavy to very heavy rains in south Gujarat in the state, yellow alert has been declared today (August 27) in scattered places of coastal Kutch, Devbhoomi Dwarka, Porbandar, Junagadh and Gir Somnath districts of Saurashtra along with Navsari and Valsad districts of South Gujarat.
