Monkey Pox virus: First case of monkey pox reported in Pakistan: fear of another epidemic like Corona

The world was out of fear of the Kovid-19 virus some time ago, but now another virus has raised the alarm. The name of this virus is Mpox, in respect of which the WHO has declared a global public health emergency. The health agency has classified it as a ‘grade 3 emergency’ which means it needs immediate attention. Since January 2023, more than 27,000 cases have been reported and nearly 1,100 deaths have occurred. In addition to parts of Congo, the virus has now spread from eastern Congo to Rwanda, Uganda, Burundi and Kenya. Pakistan’s federal health ministry officials said the person who was diagnosed with monkeypox. The man was a resident of Deir city and currently resides in Mardan. The infected person was diagnosed with Mpox after returning from Saudi Arabia on August 3, officials said.
